It's Mega-Link construction and Nixon's uniquely comfortable polyurethane/steel band make it a veritable SUV. The polyurethane is positioned on the outside of the link to allow the band to twist and compress if you find yourself using your hands to break a fall, clip a draw on a lead climb, or ward off an angry mob of adoring fans. The center of the link is made of solid stainless steel, with a locking clasp, to ensure the Rover won't leave your wrist involuntarily.
